DRIVER’S LICENSING TESTING CHANGES As of March 1st, 2014, the following changes will be made on Driver’s Licensing Testing: Road Test will be given from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and the Written Part will now be given from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
COMMERCIAL GARBAGE BIDS The City of DeWitt is taking bids on Commercial Garbage pickup from 2 cubic yards to 8 cubic yards on all commercial business. Bids must be submitted to Mayor’s Office by February 27 at 4 p.m. The City of DeWitt has the right to reject and and/or all bids.

Opening and Closing
The St. Charles Baptist Church invites you to join them in Revival Services this Sunday, February 23rd-Wednesday, February 26th. Sunday services are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday-Wednesday at 7 p.m. Pastor of First Baptist Church of DeWitt Brother Jimmy Albrecht will be the evangelist. Music by Bill and Shelia Noble.
SENIOR DRAGONETTES HIT THE ROAD The Dragonettes hit the road for a handful of away games. They face the Star City Bulldogs on Tuesday, the Monticello Billies on Wednesday, and the Hamburg Lions on Friday.

In 1947, the National FFA Board of Directors designated the week of George Washington’s birthday as National FFA Week in recognition of his legacy as an agriculturist and farmer. National FFA Week is an opportunity for FFA members, alumni and sponsors to advocate for agricultural education and FFA. Kalli Smith is the president of the local chapter. Other officers include: Ina Cox, Vice President; Cole George, Secretary; Eli Patterson,
Treasurer; P.J. Woods, Sentinel; Omar Valencia, Parliamentarian; and Reporter, Aiden White. The local chapter participated in area competition in Brinkley in November. The Open and Closing Team, Omar Valencia, James Gilcrease, Eric Vargas, Jesus Vargas, Luis Chaves, Wyatt Luebke, and Tyler Juneau, placed second at the competition. Aiden White also placed 4th in Extemporaneous Speaking. Teams also competed in District
Competition at ASU on December 4. Upcoming competitions will be at ASU on March 4. The electricity team with members Luis Chavez, Aiden White, Jesus Vargas, James Gilcrease, Eric Vargas, and Omar Valencia will be competing. Parker Brown, Gerome Walker, David Connell, Stonewall Bryant, and Cole George will also be participating in Livestock Competition. The Horticulture Team with Ina cox, Kalli Smith, Aaron Crawford, Tyler Juneau and
P.J. Woods will also be competing. The group’s annual fundraiser, a fruit sale, was successful with Alden Hargrove as the top salesman. The group also had a float in the Arkansas County Fair Parade and placed second in their division. In the spring, the group with have their annual FFA Banquet and will also be selling plants at the Arkansas County Home and Garden Show. James Phillips and Terry Turner work with the local FFA group.
T-Ball, Baseball, and Softball Sign Up at the DeWitt Baseball/Softball Field FRIDAY February 21st and SATURDAY February 22nd from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you cannot make it to the Baseball Field, Registration Forms can be picked up or turned in at Black Inc at 1704 Whitehead Drive (across from Subway in care of Courtney)
