Hello! My name is Tedi Scrambling, and I am interior architecture and design student at Georgia Southern University. With a passion for residential design, my design aesthetic centers on relaxed traditional spaces. I love combining classic architectural elements with comfortable, inviting layers that make a house feel like a home. Some of my favorite aspects of the design process include space planning, drafting in AutoCAD, and creating models in Sketchup. When I am not in the studio, you can find me hunting for unique pieces at local antique markets, browsing interior design books, or sketching ideas for my next project. 904-576-1654 tediscrambling@gmail.com

2637 Forbes Street - Jacksonville, FL 32204 50' x 125' lot Zoned for multiple building types Centrally located in historic Riverside Close to restaurants, breweries, and nightlife Walkability score of 89/100
The tiny home will be constructed in the prairie style architecture. Jacksonville has more examples of prairie style architecture than any other city outside of the midwest. Architect Henry Klutho relocated to Jacksonville following the Great Fire of 1901 to help rebuild the city and make a name for himself. He was introduced to the Prairie School style by Frank Lloyd Wright and used the style in many of his designs throughout the bold new city of the south.

3D: Digital Fabrication & Technology For this mixed media project, I designed a pagoda lantern in Rhino and cut it out of Lauan wood with the laser cutter. I downloaded a lotus from Thingiverse and 3d printed it. The base of the lantern is 10" x 10" with a second layer that is 9" x 9". The body of the lantern is 8" wide by 10" tall. The top is 10" x 10", 9" x 9", and 6" x 6". The lotus flower is 3" wide by 1" tall. After assembling the lantern with Gorilla wood glue and attaching the lotus on top using E6000 glue, I painted it with metallic gold craft paint. I framed the inside openings with balsa wood and covered the openings with gold and white washi paper. The light was purchased from Amazon.
