Teddy Teece is the Managing Partner of Kea Capital Partners (KCP), an investment firm that connects international capital with New Zealand’s light industrial sector. He has worked as an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist across finance, technology, executive coaching, and real estate. Throughout his career, he has focused on combining purpose, profit, and environmental responsibility while addressing overlooked or unusual market opportunities. Teddy's connection to New Zealand spans five generations, while his early life across two hemispheres and different coasts helped shape a broad business perspective. He works with long-term and lifestyle-oriented investors who seek financial returns while building stronger ties to New Zealand and supporting its economy, environment, and infrastructure. As Founder and Managing Partner of KCP, Teddy leads acquisition strategies across the “golden triangle,” focusing on light industrial businesses. The firm works to acquire, grow, and consolidate established companies that support important parts of the country’s infrastructure. He spent his first year in an Executive MBA program developing KCP’s business plan and investment thesis, building advisory relationships, and testing the strategy. The investment model combines private equity and search fund methods with local partnerships, community events, and philanthropic opportunities. Before founding KCP, Teddy Teece served as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of an investment bank that experienced rapid early growth and processed eight- and nine-figure transactions. He also co-founded a marketplace for unique experiences and developed partnerships with established providers. His consulting work included co-founding a family-business advisory practice within a global consulting firm, where he supported business families, executives, and next-generation leaders across the United States, the Middle East, and New Zealand.
