To choose a M.tech Thesis Adviser and Topic is one of the greatest and important decisions that you will be taking and this decision will surely effect your educational outcome [as well as your learning experience]. My suggestion is to choose an expert by the end of the 2nd semester (winter semester) of your academic program. The Institute does not assign mentor to the student and the student has to choose the mentor [it is student’s responsibility to choose a mentor] (and the mentor also has a choice to accept/decline).
