LagunaStatePolytechnicUniversity (LSPU) eyes back to back championship titles in theupcomingCultureandthe Arts Festival (CAF) and Sports Olympics 2022 of the Southern Tagalog Regional Association of State UniversitiesandColleges(STRASUC).

Attheclosing ceremony of the first post face to face University Sports Competition on November 11, LSPU Sports Director, Dr. Darwin D. Ofrin, emphasized in his concluding remarks the importance of physical preparations as they facethenextlevelofthecompetition.

“We are expecting another challenge in our sports unit, we are the defending champion.Andweareaiming for an overall championship in the upcoming STRASUC event,” Dr. Ofrin also encouraged and showed support to the athletes and told them that LSPU will assist and advise them every step of the way as they will compete in theSTRASUCtournament.

Hindi naging hadlang ang pagiging baguhan ng mga manlalaro mula Laguna State Polytechnic University San Pablo City Campus (LSPU SPCC) athletics team upang makapag tala ng 14 medalya sa University Wide Sports Athletics Event na ginanap sa Santa Cruz Campus(SCC), ika siyamngNobyembre.

Pinangunahan ng baguhannasiJohnJoshuaBelen ang Thunders na may dalawang ginto mula sa 5,000 and 10,000 meter run at isang pilak naman mula sa 3,000 meterrun.

Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Eden C. Callo, also talked about the significance of conducting Sports Olympics for the athletesofLSPU.

“The LSPU Sports Olympic helps in identifying the bestplayerswhowillthenbe delegatesfortheregionaland national Olympics wherestudent athletes from various state universities and colleges come together for the same purpose of fellowship through sports,” Dr. Callo said.

Winners of the annual event will represent LSPU in the forthcoming STRASUC SportscompetitioninDecember.***
