TEXAS TECH HEADS TO IOWA STATE Texas Tech will look to snap a three-game losing skid on Saturday as the Red Raiders face the Iowa State Cyclones in an afternoon tilt at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames. Kickoff has been set for 2:30 p.m. and tickets are available for purchase online at www.cyclones.com or by calling the Iowa State Athletics Ticket Office.

Brian Jensen returns to the broadcast booth as the play-by-play announcer for his 15th season and is joined by veteran John Harris who will be in his 32nd year of providing analysis. Chris Level rounds out the crew as the sideline reporter and is in his fifth season. The Red Raiders enter the game following a disappointing loss to the 24th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners last Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium. Texas Tech led most of the game but surrendered 21 fourth quarter points and that allowed the Sooners to escape with a 42-30 win. Texas Tech stands at 3-7 overall (1-6 in Big 12 play) and has been officially eliminated from the postseason. Iowa State enters the match-up with a 2-7 overall record and an 0-6 mark in Big 12 play. The Cyclones were off last week but suffered a 34-14 loss at Kansas it its last outing back on Nov. 8. Like Texas Tech, the Cyclones have been eliminated from the postseason picture. TEXAS TECH AND IOWA STATE • Texas Tech leads the all-time series 9-3. • The Red Raiders and Cyclones will be meeting for the fifth consecutive season on Saturday in Ames. The two teams began playing annually back in 2010 following the first round of conference realignment. • Texas Tech has won two-straight games against the Cyclones dating back to a 24-13 win in Ames in 2012. The Red Raiders won last year’s meeting 42-35. • Saturday’s game will mark just the second time that the two teams have faced off in the month of November. It also marks the latest match-up between the two teams as the previous November meeting occurred on Nov. 6, 1999 in Lubbock.
