RED RAIDERS PREPARE FOR DIFFICULT TEST IN STILLWATER Texas Tech will face one of its most difficult challenges of the season on Saturday as the Red Raiders travel to Stillwater to face No. 24 Oklahoma State at Boone Pickens Stadium. Kickoff has been set for 2:30 p.m. and the game will be televised regionally by Fox Sports Net. Oklahoma State became bowl eligible on Saturday with a 55-34 win over West Virginia while Texas Tech snapped a two-game losing skid with a 41-34 2OT win over Kansas to improve to 7-3. The Cowboys are just ahead of the Red Raiders in the Big 12 standings in fourth place with a 4-2 record in league play while Texas Tech stands at 4-3 in conference action. Fans that would like to tune into the radio broadcast of the game can tune the dial to one of 38 stations in the region on the Texas Tech Sports Network from Learfield Sports.

THE MATCH-UP Texas Tech and Oklahoma State will be meeting for the 40th time on Saturday afternoon and for the 17th time as Big 12 Conference foes. Texas Tech will head to Stillwater for the first time since 2009 as the last two contests between Tech and Oklahoma State were played in Lubbock due to the shuffling of the Big 12 Conference schedule during conference realignment. Texas Tech leads the all-time series 21-15-3 but the Cowboys have won three straight in the series dating back to a 24-17 win in Stillwater on Nov. 14, 2009.
