REGULAR-SEASON FINALE PITS TECH AGAINST BAYLOR Texas Tech will face the Baylor Bears in its 2012 regular-season finale on Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington as part of the Fourth Annual Texas Farm Bureau Shootout. Kickoff has been set for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and the game will be televised nationally on FOX. Tickets for Saturday’s game are available for purchase through the athletics ticket office or online at texastech.com. The Red Raiders will be the designated home team for Saturday’s game, marking a first for Tech at Cowboys Stadium. Texas Tech takes a 7-4 (4-4 Big 12) overall record into the game while Baylor stands at 5-5 (2-5 Big 12) on the year. Fans that wish to catch the radio broadcast on Saturday afternoon can tune into one of 38 stations on the Texas Tech Sports Network across the region or on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 93 or XM Radio channel 191.

THE MATCH-UP Texas Tech and Baylor will be meeting in the Fourth Annual Texas Farm Bureau Shootout on Saturday afternoon in Cowboys Stadium. The Tech-Baylor series moved to the DFW Metroplex in 2009 where the Red Raiders took a 20-13 win at Cowboys Stadium in front 71,964 fans. The series moved to Cotton Bowl Stadium in 2010 where Tech won 45-38 and then back to Cowboys Stadium in 2011. The Bears snapped a 15-game losing streak to Texas Tech in last year’s game with a 66-42 win. Saturday’s game will mark the 71st all-time meeting against Baylor and is the most played series in Texas Tech history. The Red Raiders lead the all-time series 36-33-1, including a streak of 15-straight from 1996-2010.
