RED RAIDERS RETURN TO ARLINGTON n Texas Tech heads to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex for the ninth-consecutive season this weekend when the Red Raiders face Baylor in the Texas Farm Bureau Shootout. n This will be the eighth time where Tech and Baylor have met at AT&T Stadium in Arlington as the series is scheduled to remain at the home of the Dallas Cowboys through the 2018 season. n Texas Tech is definitely no stranger to the Dallas Cowboys as the Red Raiders hosted their Spring Game this past April at The Star in Frisco, the official team headquarters of the Cowboys. RED RAIDERS, BEARS USED TO A SHOOTOUT n The Texas Farm Bureau Shootout has stayed true to its name in recent years as both teams have scored at least 30 points in each of the last seven meetings. In fact, the combined average of points between the Texas Tech and Baylor has been 95.1 since 2010 alone. n The Red Raiders are averaging 618 yards of total offense against Baylor under head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Texas Tech has recorded at least 600 yards of total offense in each of the last three meetings against the Bears, which includes 666 yards a year ago in a 55-34 victory over Baylor a year ago.

COUTEE AMONG NATION’S ELITE RECEIVERS n Keke Coutee continued his dominance over Big 12 defenses this past weekend as the junior matched his career high with 12 receptions for 189 yards and two touchdowns. It marked the third game this season Coutee has recorded at least 150 yards through the air, which leads all Big 12 Conference receivers heading into this weekend. n Coutee had possibly the game of his career last year against Baylor as he recorded a career-high 221 receiving yards, which ranked tied for 10th all-time in Tech history. Coutee’s day included a 35-yard touchdown in the first quarter and then an 80-yard strike later in the day.
