PLAYER TO WATCH #13 Junior AUBREE PIPER Middle Blocker

Amarillo, Texas

Canyon Randall H.S.

Aubree Piper saw her most action since early October on Wednesday night as the junior was inserted into the rotation late in the third set against Baylor and delivered three kills off just six attempts. Piper missed nine-straight matches due to injury before playing a few points at No. 3 Texas on Nov. 3. Before her injury, Piper was on pace for her best season in a Red Raider uniform to date as she was hitting over .300 and had already totaled 56 blocks. The Amarillo, Texas native is hitting .311 on the season, which currently ranks tied for eighth in the Big 12 entering this weekend. Even with the long absence from the lineup, Piper is still fifth on the team with 152 kills this year to go along with a pair of aces and 18 total digs.
