大圓圈 / 專業油封開發廠 鉅鋐是第4次把案子交給大雋了,這次要將僅剩的土地用完了,因此相當謹慎,無論在功能及造型上, 都得呈現一副”終結者”的姿態,新廠立面上的大圈圈就是油封(主力產品)的形狀,襯托其外的是一大面似軟實剛的鋁隔柵, 讓正圓形的圈圈躍然其上,再輔以三層樓高的曲面玻璃磚牆(東南亞最高)作為鋁隔柵的延伸, 讓生硬的製造產業呈現柔順的美感,也讓室內的採光出奇的透亮,又因其朝向北方,俗稱”無熱採光”, 不失為創造室內良好光環境及節省能源的好辦法。

Chu Hung has entrusted T.E&C architects it’s forth case, exploiting whatever is left of its usable land.

Therefore we were very cautious every process, whether in deciding the functions or models of space, as if we were the last of everything.

The façade of the new plant has these huge circles to emblem oils seals, the main product of the company. Setting off these huge circles is a face of aluminum grilles that extend to a curved wall made up of glass bricks (the highest in south-east Asia). This tenderizes the hardness of the industry into something much smoother and allows a surprising amount of light to the interior. Finally, because the plant faces the north, which is said to have no “heated light”, serves as a source for favorable lighting and a method for energy saving.

Gain How Wenshan Plant is Gain How’s 5th entrusted case with T.E&C architects. Since our first cooperation on the precision plant till now, we’ve been aiming towards something “similar but different”. Of course, not all things are easily accomplished. A total of six suggestions have been proposed before coming to an agreement. The Wenshan Plant still upholds “barcode” imagery, but we changed the “entity” of tiled lines to something more “fictitious”. We look forward to the transformation from the precision plant’s calmness to a “translucent and technological” imagery to approach an inclusive attitude towards the environment and the future.

生命樹/ 傢俱傢飾製造廠 說起樹德案真是百感交集,從擔任”建廠顧問”,”國外建築師評選委員”到擔任國內建築師,前後將近三年時間,經過五次大改版,百餘次設計會議,終於在2017.8.10動土興建。 本案為大雋第一次在國內的跨國合作設計案,與澳洲的WA建築師事務所,加拿大的RJC結構技師事務所合作,以”生命樹之夢工廠”為題,展開一場誰也料想不到結局的驚異旅程,其中創造許多 ”奇蹟”,如全世界最高的室內木構造(高30.8M生命樹),4000片帷幕窗組成的櫻花飄落正立面,以”南島文化”為底蘊的文化主題館及全國面積最大的觀光工廠等等,在在考驗業主的決心,建築 師團隊的毅力及相互間的信任及友誼….由於基地位處南崗工業區,俗稱”半山”,”半山夢工廠”就成了大雋回到廠辦發跡地(鑫永銓)的最新力作,期待在大雋20週年,2019年完工落成時,成為代 表台灣向世界發光之作,與業主共創榮耀。

An erosion of feelings come out when we speak of the Shuter case. From being a " construction consultant " and a " foreign architect selection commissioner " to serving as a domestic architect, an approximation of three years has passed, resulting in five major revisions and more than 100 design meetings. Finally on August 8, 2017, we began construction.

This was T.E&C's first cross-border cooperation case with Australia's WA architects and Canada's RJC Structural Technicians. The factory theme is a " tree of life ", which resulted in something so fascinating that no one would expect: a " miracle " in which the world's highest indoor wooden structure " tree of life" was built (a height of 30.8m). Applying 4000 curtains to portray cherry blossoms falling on the facade, using " Southern Island Culture" as the basis for cultural themes and becoming the country's largest tourist factory etc., were tests to prove the client's determination. The consistency and mutual trust of the team of architects also played an important role in this project. Due to the fact that the site is located in Nangang Industrial Zone, also known as "mid-level". The mid-level dream factory has become the latest piece of T.E&C architects's project within the area, whereas Hsin Yung Chien CO,.LTD. was the first design to take place. We look towards T.E&C architects's 20th anniversary and the completion of this factory in 2019, hoping to represent Taiwan in the world and create glory with client.

開門 / 建築五金製造廠 松之門控為門窗地繳鍊製造廠,排名世界第二,但業主卻出奇的低調。 當我們被要求要做出”外醜內美”的建築物時,真是慌得不知所措,幸好業主指的是”樸質 無華”而不是真的要扮醜,於是大雋破天荒的”普通模拆模即外裝”的案子就出現了,除外 觀呈現混凝土樸實的質感外,也藉由”門開與關的動態”意象來呈現立面光影層次,看看歷 代建築大師們說的 ”讓光來作設計 ”的情況會不會發生。

Although Leado Door Controls, Ltd. is ranked second in the world, the client of the chain manufacturing company has kept a surprisingly low profile.

When asked to design an " ugly " building, we were overwhelming. Fortunately, the client referred to a "plain and unpretentious" design rather than plain ugliness. So T.E.&C architects unprecedentedly came up with simply "removing molds and exterior trusses". In addition to the simple texture of the concrete, we utilized the dynamic motion of opening and closing of doors onto the facade to present different levels of light and shadow. Let us see whether generations of great architects were right when they meant " let light do the design ".

長廊 / 窗簾窗飾製造廠 將元行乃新舊建築結合之作,其主力產品為”窗簾”, 故在新舊廠房間拉開一條展示長廊,一舉將其最新產 品展示於室內,並顯示於室外;由於窗簾開合、顏色及 疏密各有不同,於是間接創造出建築物豐富的立面,也 搭配室內光環境的情境設計,讓業主的產品實實在在 的呈現出其最大的性能與價值,為”產品”與”建築” 結合的良好案例。

Giant Yuen Hang’s building is a combination of old and new.

It mainly sells “curtains, so an exhibition corridor is applied to connect both old and new factories. This act can not only place products inside, but can also display them on the outside. Due to the fact that curtains differentiate in density and color, we’ve created a copious façade that collaborates with the lighting of the interior environment. This allows our client’s products to stand out to in performance and value. This case has shown a favorable combination of “products” and architecture.

綠廠房 / 泵浦製造廠 泉溢,取「泉水湧溢」之意,形象上係以「湧泉」為之,師法自然 以流水為主題，在辦公樓以流動的立面及帷幕、格柵的切麵呈 現「石上清泉」的形象,呼應企業為製作泵浦之廠房,獨特且深 具意。 本案另一特特為大型「水堰」,及泵浦排水能力之測試設施,占 地兩百餘坪,深十五米,殊為壯觀,將與國內檢試驗機構(如SGS. TAF等)合作,為國內民間第一座大型試水堰。業主雖為傳統製 造業,最環境的議題甚為重視,「綠廠房」即為其主要努力目標 。要達成綠廠房的目標除了取得「綠建築標章」外,仍須經過兩 年的驗證期,檢視生產過程及廠區使用是否合乎申請規定,再予 發證,其增加的成本,光整場玻璃的汰換就達兩百餘萬,日後使用 更得符合相關規定,不得恣意違規增建、變更空地使用等,足見 業主經營「綠企業」的決心。 The design concept of the office building comes from "spring water". We attached vertical grilles on the building mass to simulate water flow on stone, which portrays the story of the water-pump manufacturing company.

Another characteristic of this project is the placement of a large weir set as a factory facility field for pump testing. It occupies more than 662 square meters and is 15 meters deep, making it the first official testing weir in Taiwan.

Although the factory is built for traditional manufacturing, the client has treated environmental protection as an important issue, allowing aim for a green factory as a goal. In order to achieve the goal, the factory must be authorized by the "Green Building Label", where the approval process can take up to approximately 2 years. Not only does it have a strict regulation, but also precisely controls the production process and usage of the factory.

For example, the total construction fee has gone up due to the usage of Low-E Glass, which costs more than two million dollars. In addition, changing the usage of open space or adding construction within the factory is prohibited. As a result, taking environmental protection as a duty has shown the core value of the company.

新古典 / 油壓機零件廠 丞巨為於大里區仁化工業區,為精密精器零件廠,但業主偏好古典風格, 於是新廠有著 ”新古典 ”的樣式。 本案業主事必躬親、每會必到,為不可多得認真賣力地實踐家,其中對 於建造細節的要求更是不容一絲苟且。雖是 ”新古典 ”形式,但卻用 新的建材表達,如玄關玻璃、雨遮、大廳採光、天井等,嘗試以古為體 ; 以新為用,呈現 “ 新古典的混搭風格 ”。

D&H-Fluid power is a precision parts factory located in the industrial zone of Renhua, Dali District. But the clients prefer a more classical style, so we decided to add a “neoclassical” taste to the factory.

The client of this case has participated in every aspect of the project, appearing in every part of the whole process. Especially, his demand for the perfection of detailed construction. even though the design is based on neoclassical design, we used modern elements to express certain details. Some of these appearances are shown in places such as the entrance glass wall, canopy, living room lighting and patio etc. Our attempt to utilize classical design as a base on modern architecture has given us a mixture of something new.

雙生 / 特殊泵製造廠 日益舊廠原來隱身烏日農地,小徑通幽,為典型隱形冠軍;新廠座落台中精密科技園區,以建坪5608餘坪之姿巍然而立, 業主以不到四十歲的年紀有此成就令人刮目相看。 新廠因堪輿需求區分為廠與辦兩棟大樓,特別的是辦公大樓的正面不面對馬路而面對廠房,為避免前院狹促,於是在對 應的廠房側開啟大面帷幕窗,並以空橋相連,頗有相互對話、攜手相連之感,在看似利空的條件下,營造出特殊的趣味。 Zi Yi Electrical Engineering is hidden in on a farm in Wuri District, unnoticed to the eye, crowning the plant for its invisibility. The new plant is located in the Taichung Precision Park, covering an astounding approximation of 5608 square feet. The client is barely forty years of age and holds accomplishments many would deem admirable.

Due to the new plant’s geomancy, the separation of the factory and administration was necessary. To create a harmonious interlocution, we’ ve not only shifted the main façade of the administration building towards the factory to create more forecourt space, but also applied large glass curtains onto the façade. Finally we’ve created something quite interesting, under the condition of exploiting space, as if the buildings are holding hands.

樹影扶疏 / 分度盤製造廠 將科技化的企業廠房結合當代建築構材，利用自然元 素-樹影，創造出具生命特質的建築環境；表現出牆面 量體分割、量體陽台綠化及帷幕樹影噴砂。 建築量體以垂直直線與部份樹狀分枝意象分割，使水 平向的建築量體不顯得過於巨大，使建築表情產生特 有的韻律感。立面的虛實交替，綠化陽台夾雜其中， 透出光影充滿豐富的空間變化及時間層次。相對於兩 側量體幾何樹型分割，入口帷幕玻璃擷取真實樹影造 型噴砂，在入口大廳創造婆娑樹影，呈現廠在林中、 林在廠中意象。廠區栽植大量四時樹木，使廠區的外 部環境與立面樹影相互輝映。 Using the changes of the engraved index plates as the design concept, division and branching has become the elements of the facade, extending into a tree-like image. We utilized modern building elements onto the technological industry building, such as natural elements: tree shadows. This created a life-like characteristic around the architecture’s environment by dividing walls, greening balconies and sand-blasting curtain walls that imitate tree shadows.

The body was divided into branch-like shapes, displaying a smaller and harmonized building. The façade is overlapped with solid and fictitious elements with folding green balconies in between, enriching the changes of light, shadow and time within space. Relatively speaking of the sides that are divided into tree-like shapes, the entrance has glass curtains with sand-blasted tree designs that reflect onto the floor, creating shadow of forest within the plant. The surrounding environment has an abundant amount of trees that last throughout the seasons, reflecting an image onto the plant’s facade.

綠心 / 電動馬達製造廠 富田是特斯拉在台灣的馬達製造供應廠,位於竹科銅鑼園區,占地7公頃,為最具指標性的先進廠房,有趣的事, 基地中心竟有顆200年以上的大榕樹,樹下並有土地公廟一座,業主除了將榕樹保留之外還將土地公廟重建, 並供鄰近居民參拜,其敬天愛人之心不言可喻,故,本案有著現代與傳統並存,科技與信仰融合的樣貌。 建築意象以”藏富於田.躍動於山”為題,以”電動馬達”發想,牽引整個建築群盤據整座山頭,猶如青龍螫 伏於山,將一舉衝天。

FUKUTA ELEC. & MACH. CO, LTD. is Tesla's motor manufacturing and supply plant in Taiwan. Located in Tongluo Science Park and covering an area of seven hectares, this project is the most indicative and advanced plant.

An interesting thing, at the base center there is a 200 year old banyan tree, and underneath the tree sits a Tudigong temple. Not only will the client keep the tree intact, but will also rebuild the temple for locals to access and worship. This act shows how self-evident the client is by combining modern with tradition and technology with beliefs. The appearance of the building portrays an ancient saying: "wealth is hidden in the lands and shown in the mountains" as the theme. We started off by setting an "electric motor" as the concept, pulling every everything together, including the architecture the mountain into a disk-like appearance, like a Chinese dragon slapped into the mountains with one fell swoop.

Motor manufacturing is the main product of the industry, which has allowed us to start from the appearance: filled streamlines. Unfortunately, due to its location within a narrow alley, there wouldn’t be a chance to show the factory’s completeness.

鋼管構造 / 鋼鐵廠 本案於2006建廠,金融海嘯前夕,H型鋼飆升至新台幣36元/KG,為歷 史天價,故謀替代性結構系統及工法,「純鋼管」( 省料費工 )構造,因 應而生,又因有大型天車(20T)荷重及晃動,鋼管結構之絞接特性(利 用結構位移削減外力能量備受考驗,如何克服亦為本案主要特色。 本案辦公樓以「鋼胚塑型」為發想,以雕刻手法刻鑿開口不於建築 量體,與廠房圓弧屋頂相映成趣。廠區動線因載運鋼捲(10T/捲),有 大荷重,地板施作RC外亦加鋪鋼板,避免貨車輪胎打轉傷害路面。此 外,本愛配合弧形屋頂採用改良式氣樓「600型自然通風氣」,除造 價較一班太子樓便宜外,兼具消防排煙、通風排熱及採光功能,亦不 受颱風風雨引響,可謂一舉數得。

The construction of this project started in 2006, right before the financial crisis.

The price of I-beams were raised up to 36NTD per kilogram, the highest price ever recorded.Therefore, we used "truss beams" instead of H-beams to construct the building, which allowed us to cut material costs. However, due to heavy loading and shaking of a heavy weight bridge cane (20 tons), installing the revolute joints of the truss structure became challenge, making this stand as a characteristic in the project. " Steel casting " is the design concept for this office building. Hence, we casted an opening on the building mass, contrasting with the curved roof to present a convivial image of the entire facility. Due to heavy load shipping (steel rolls, 10 tons per roll), outdoor shipping circulation is made by reinforced concrete and covered with steel panels to avoid damage by trucks. Moreover, we installed improved ridge vents along the span of the curved roof. These " 600 natural ventilation vents " not only cost cheaper, but also share the characteristics of smoke chimneys and circulates air and sunlight. These vents even have less affection by typhoons, making the design of the factory roof functional, economical, and efficient.

科技活泉 / 軟體園區S1智匯中心 大里軟體南端面臨泉水街，舊稱「泉水仔」昔日因 當地下水豐富，常有泉水湧出，因此集居至此，泉 水仔也因此成為草湖地區發展較早的地方。 整體設計概念由泉水的意象出發，衍生出特色店舖 、陽台曲線及圓穹屋頂造型。特色店鋪量體以流動 的泉水意象延伸，實面的清水混凝土牆、半穿透的 格柵、虛面的玻璃各以不同的姿態互相轉接，變化 出空間的驚艷。大樓量體外加陽台強化水平線條， 以流水的概念曲線設計強化科技流線感。大樓屋頂 造型以湧泉的層層漣漪發想，以水平向格柵詮釋， 轉換古典圓頂沉重堅實的形象。 Taichung Software Park′s south side aligns with Quanshui Street, formerly known as “ Quanshui Zi ” because of its abundant resource of underground water that constantly gushes out from the ground. Therefore settlement within Quanshui Zi has made it one of the earlier developed places in the Caohu area.

We started off by using spring water as the design concept, developing into specialized shops, curved balconies and a circular rooftop model. The specialized shops have a streamline form that derives from the concept of spring water with faced concrete walls, semi - penetrating grilles and fictitious walls of glass that overlap each other, making the space look fascinating. Balconies are added to bring out the leveling of the building by using curved streamlines to intensify a technological touch. The rooftop model comes from the concept of ripples, rendered by horizontal grilles, converting the solid and classical dome into something modern.
