2025 ROUND-UP

2025 ROUND-UP

Well, what a year it’s been. 2025 has given us so very much, from team firsts and epic milestones to podium success and exciting new connections.

When I look back over everything we have achieved and the many activities we’ve undertaken this year, ‘proud’ doesn’t come close. We’re a race team and that is of course our number 1 focus, but we’ve done so much more than that. We’ve travelled the length and breadth of the UK to support our sponsors’ events, we’ve welcomed community groups to our headquarters, we’ve worked with charities both here in the UK and in the United States, and far, far, more.

Most humbling perhaps has been the opportunity to mark our 10 year anniversary. As a small team, that many assume is a charity, and who many over the years have disregarded when it comes to ‘serious motorsport’ – we’ve proven people wrong and then some.

For ten years we’ve been battling away, finding the army of sponsors and supporters we need to help us do what we do best – racing for all.

It is this army of supporters that we have to thank for the wonderful variety of achievements and experiences you will see throughout this document. Without them, we wouldn’t be here. It’s as simple as that.

With the funding, goods and services, time and support that we receive from our sponsors, we’re able to bring together the skill, experience, dedication and passion from across our team to bring this dream to life.

And when we bring it to life – we change the lives of others. An interview with the mother of one of our drivers this year really sticks with me. She said: “I actually don’t know what we’d have done without Team BRIT... They’ve been monumental for his mental health, his recovery, and for us.”

We must keep making this difference.

This is just a snapshot of an incredible year. We can’t wait to see what’s next.

MIKE SCUDAMORE

JANUARY

Mike and Noah supported sponsor Adrian Flux at the Race Media Awards. They took 2nd place in the ‘most inspiring campaign’ category for their fantastic short film on our team.

Noah and Mike visited the Coalville site of sponsor Motability to present to their team and unveil our 2025 livery.

It was team building and training with a difference, as three of our drivers headed over to the French Alps for a race like no other, thanks to the generosity of a team sponsor.

Drivers Bobby, Aaron and Paul travelled to Serre Chevalier to compete in the 12th Ice Kart Trophy, hosted by RD Events, all thanks to Absolute Mobility.

FEBRUARY

We headed to Portimao in the Algarve for our annual pre-season testing.

Testing in warmer temperatures enables us to emulate conditions for the start of the UK racing season, providing valuable data and track time for our drivers.

We also captured content for a stunning new promo film

MARCH

We officially launched our 2025 season at our annual city event, showcasing our McLaren and our BMW M240i outside Lloyds of London.

Our title partner Brit Insurance hosted us for a networking event first, before we headed over to Motability Operations HQ for a staff ‘meet and greet’, plus filming for some bespoke content.

We welcomed a group of marshals from the South East Region of the British Motorsports Marshals Club (BMMC) to TB HQ to learn more about our team, our technology and cars, and to hear about the challenges facing disabled racing drivers at UK race circuits.

We attended the exclusive Black Book Motorsport Forum, where our Mclaren was proudly on display, and Mike and Paul spoke on stage in front of 300 motorsport industry professionals.

APRIL

The season finally began! All three cars were in action in round 1 of the Britcar Endurance Championship at Silverstone and we came out strong.

Paul & Aaron charged from P4 in qualifying to take an epic P1 finish in race 1. Sadly, a post race pit stop penalty demoted them to P2.

Asha & Bobby also smashed it in the BMW, taking P1 in class, while Noah & Caleb brought home a solid P4.

In race 2, Noah and Caleb came back strong to take P2 in the McLaren, whilst Asha and Bobby followed up their earlier win with a hard-fought P3.

Sadly, a heavy incident for Paul in Race 2 forced a DNF for the #68 McLaren, but thankfully he was given the all-clear — a testament to his strength and the safety of our cars.

MAY

We were back on track for round 2 of Britcar, at Silverstone once again, where we also hosted more than 120 guests in the BRDC Clubhouse.

Asha & Bobby claimed P1 in class after a stellar drive from P3 on the grid. Paul & Aaron delivered a clean race to finish P3, while Noah & Caleb recovered from early contact to take P4.

Also at Silverstone, GT4 driver Caleb spearheaded work to raise funds for the charity ‘Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.’ Our hospitality guests kindly donated to our fundraising efforts through donations and purchases of the team’s old tyres, which can be upcycled into coffee tables and planters. Almost £1200 was raised.

Other special guests at Silverstone were a group of 14 young people from Bedford College. The students, aged between 16 and 19 all have special educational needs or disabilities including ADHD, Autism, and visual impairments and were given the chance to spectate throughout the day and to meet the drivers, crew and wider team in the garage and in the paddock.

MAY

We held our annual sponsors karting event, welcoming more than 100 colleagues from across our sponsor networking for a fun and competitive day of karting at Daytona Milton Keynes.

We supported our partners Karcher UK at the GSF Tech Fest in Manchester. Mike joined the Karcher UK stand with our sim and blazepods, to chat to the guests of the event, which is an aftermarket trade show and conference hosted by GSF Car Parts, the UK’s fastestgrowing motor factor.

Noah, Bobby and Mike took our cars, our sim and our blazepods over to the NEC in Birmingham to support Motability’s ‘Scheme Live’ event. The team met a huge number of Motability customers, shared the story of our drivers and invited them to try their hand at racing on the sim and to test their reactions on our blazepods.

It was back to Daytona Milton Keynes for their 24hr kart race –great fun for our drivers to return to their karting roots.

We closed a busy month with Round 3 of the Britcar Endurance Championship at Snetterton.

Ups and downs defined this round.

Despite setbacks, Noah & Caleb stormed through the field in Race 1, with Noah making up 9 positions in his opening stint before Caleb took over to finish P4. In Race 2, Noah received contact from another car, pushing him to the back of the grid. Despite this, he gave everything, clocking one of the fastest lap times of the race to hand over to Caleb in P3, who pushed on to take P2 in Race 2.

Asha & Bobby battled hard in Race 1, also dealing with a puncture before taking P3. They crossed the line first in Race 2, but a pit lane infringement dropped them to P2.

Sadly, an early incident took Paul and Aaron out of the racing for this round.

JUNE

We attended the Caffeine and Machine event for Strassen Kultur, supporting our partners, Karcher UK.

We were also at the GSF Tech Fest for Karcher UK once again, this time in Coventry

We welcomed a team from the Motability Scheme to TB HQ for some exciting filming, showcasing our adaptations.

Paul joined his personal sponsor, Silverlake Automotive at their annual ‘Motofest’ event at the Silverlake Stadium.

Silverlake are leading suppliers of used vehicles and parts, and each year host this huge community event, celebrating all things motoring.

Paul took along his McLaren and met with the crowds, before also being interviewed on the main stage.

JULY

Round 4 of Britcar took place at Thruxton. A high-speed, highstakes weekend.

Asha & Bobby took P3 in Race 1, then dominated Race 2 to claim another P1 in class, keeping them firmly in title contention.

Noah & Caleb impressed on their Thruxton debut with a P4, before a wiring issue sadly forced a DNF in Race 2.

We were delighted to take part in this year’s Celebration of Speed held at Lympstone Manor in July.

Paul and Mike took along a McLaren which was on display throughout, giving lots of people the special tour of our car and hand controls. They also shared the Team BRIT story on the main stage.

We welcomed a content team to TB HQ on behalf of RS, who filmed for a Team BRIT ‘Inside Track’ YouTube series.

Mike and Paul headed over to long-term sponsors SHD Composite Materials to meet the team, who got hands on with our racing sim and blazepods, and to catch up on the season so far.

We were back in karts once again for a special event at Daytona Milton Keynes for sponsor, RS.

AUGUST

On our way to Donington, we stopped in to visit our partners Bott UK. Mike and Noah were joined by truckie Ed and mechanics Nathan and Kaden. Sharing our story and tech, we were treated to a tour of the facility.

We were back at the Caffeine and Machine event for Karcher.

We supported the Motability Scheme Live event at Harrogate, demonstrating our car and tech to the many visitors.

We had a great time at the Silverstone Festival, supporting partners, Adrian Flux.

Donington played host to Round 5 of the Britcar Endurance Championship.

After a strong Thursday test, confidence was high — and qualifying didn’t disappoint. The GT class front row was an all-Team BRIT affair, with Aaron securing pole in the #68 McLaren and Noah slotting in alongside him in the #38. In the #4 BMW, Asha also impressed, taking P2 in class.

Despite an early technical gremlin, Asha and Bobby battled through to claim P2 in class, extending both their class and overall championship leads.

Noah and Caleb were on flying form — Noah charging to an early lead before bringing the car home P2 in class and P4 overall, earning Driver of the Day honours for his heroic stint.

The #68 McLaren’s race, however, took a hit when Paul was forced off into the gravel, losing valuable laps before rejoining. Undeterred, Paul and Aaron fought back to finish P5.

SEPTEMBER

Round 6 at Snetterton was an emotional rollercoaster!

Guest driver Takuma Aoki – friend of the team and former superbike racer from Japan joined us once again to team up with Paul in the #68. That meant Aaron joined Noah whilst Caleb was away.

As the cars rolled onto the grid for the race, the skies opened. Torrential rain turned the circuit into a river, forcing rapid tyre strategy calls.

Sadly, early chaos saw Paul’s McLaren suffer a broken driveshaft before the race even began when he went into the wall heading to the grid. In a heroic effort, the Team BRIT mechanics worked flatout to repair the damage, getting the car back on track for Aoki to take the wheel before the chequered flag — a testament to the team’s spirit.

Noah delivered a storming first stint, handing over to Aaron in P1 in class and P2 overall. Morgan held firm under immense pressure, securing an overall P2 and class victory.

Meanwhile, Asha and Bobby produced a remarkable comeback. Starting 24th on the grid, Asha sliced through the field before handing to Bobby, who sealed another class win and fourth overall — further cementing their championship lead.

Ahead of Round 6 of racing at Snetterton, we were delighted to host the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce at the track for their networking event, featuring a team presentation and Q&A plus tours of the garage during testing.

We played hosts to Bott HQ at TB HQ for an open day, welcoming their customers and colleagues to see their incredible storage solutions in place in our workshop.

We were back to GSF Tech Fest in support of partners Karcher UK.

It was over to Northern Ireland for Mike and Noah for the final Motability Scheme Live event of the year.

OCTOBER

Throughout the year’s Motability Scheme

Live events, visitors were invited to take part in a ‘fastest lap’ sim competition. The winners enjoyed a track day held at Thruxton, where they enjoyed passenger laps with our drivers before taking to the wheel themselves.

Our final karting event of the year welcomed sponsors from the insurance sector. This time, we were at Daytona Sandown Park. More than 80 people joined us for an endurance kart race.

It was a special moment for the team as we celebrated our 10 year anniversary with a unique event for our sponsors and supporters.

We joined partners RS at Whilton Mill for a fun-filled karting event with our BMW on display.

A huge milestone was met as we unveiled our new BMW GT3 to our sponsors as part of our 10 year celebration.

As part of a top secret project, we welcomed a film crew from Germany to TB HQ where they interviewed Al, Mike and Lucy, before hitting the road to film with drivers at home, and at Oulton Park.

OCTOBER

Round 7 of the Britcar Endurance Championship at Oulton Park brought more drama, but also another reason to celebrate.

In the #4 BMW, Asha and Bobby started P2 in class, Asha battled wheel-to-wheel — even going three-wide through the corners — before handing to Bobby, who brought the car home P1 in class. The victory extended their championship lead heading into the season finale.

The #38 McLaren of Noah and Caleb endured a tougher day. An early off for Noah resulted in heavy contact with the wall and a premature end to their race. Thankfully, Noah was unscathed, though the car was out for the day.

In the #68 McLaren, Aaron got the race off to a strong start before Paul took over. Despite a brake lock-up that sent the car into the gravel, Paul managed to rejoin and recover to P4 in class, rounding out a hardfought weekend for the team.

It was more filming at TB HQ, this time for Aaron’s personal sponsor, Chips Away.

We’re passionate about supporting others who share in our vision, so it was a pleasure to join Mission Motorsport’s ‘Veterans Heritage: Scale and Speed’ event at Bicester Heritage. We took along our simulator and had a great day meeting people from the armed forces community.

NOVEMBER

A huge moment for our team as we flew over to Virginia for the inaugural Veterans Race of Remembrance USA.

We teamed up with charity Resilience Racing – which offers motorsport opportunities for injured veterans, to field 2 teams driving an Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 and a Ford Mustang.

The Aston was fitted with our hand controls which were then left behind as a legacy, enabling more disabled drivers in the US to access motorsport.

The season finale at Brands Hatch brought both heartbreak and joy.

Asha and Bobby were our sole entry in the BMW M240i and were leading the championship. The final round consisted of 2 races, one in the early afternoon ahead of a final night race.

Sadly, Asha was forced off the track in race 1, causing substantial damage to the car. The crew worked relentlessly to fix it and got them out for race 2, but the damage prevented them from driving the car to its full capacity.

They finished the championship 2nd overall, losing the title by just 2 points, but were victorious in their class.

NOVEMBER

We held the first official test of our brand new GT3. Returning driver Jamie Falvey took to the wheel exactly 8 years after winning his first race with us!
