DEAR FRIENDS, As we step into the holiday season, I want to thank you for supporting Tea and our mission to bring people together and celebrate cultures from around the world. We often hear great stories in our travels, so I’ll share a popular one from the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan. Called “The Four Friends,” the story begins with an elephant, a monkey, a rabbit, and a peacock gathered around a tall fruit tree.

None of the friends could reach the fruit on their own, so the monkey climbed on the back of the elephant, the rabbit hopped on the monkey’s shoulders, and the peacock perched on the rabbit’s ears. Working as a team, they could reach the fruit and enjoy the sweet treat together.

It’s a story about cooperation, the interdependence of all creatures, and the importance of sharing our natural world. This ancient tale speaks directly to our modern life and reflects the values we at ea embrace.
