We apologize for the inconvenience, but all of our teachers will be attending the Teachers Convention on the 20th, so there will be No School and No Daycare on Friday, September 20th. We’ll be back to normal on Monday the 23rd. "See You at the Pole" will be held Wednesday, September 24. We will have Chapel/prayer time at the Flag Pole in front of the Administration Building at 8:30 a.m. Parents/Grandparents/Community Members are welcome and encouraged to join us! FREE AFTER-SCHOOL TUTORING happens Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, 3:30 – 4:30, in the 4th grade room and in the Middle School. Thank you First Lutheran PTL for sponsoring this for our students! KINDLES FOR SALE: The middle school has upgraded to ChromeBooks, so the Kindle Fire 7’s that were formerly used in the middle school are now for sale. They have 5 GB, come with cases, but no charging cords. 1 for $30, 2 for $50, 3 for $60. Stop by the office to take a look/purchase them. CHAPEL OFFERINGS: After only 3 chapels, we have collected $162.75 in Chapel Offerings to be used to sponsor Romaric and Bernadette this school year! Remember to bring your chapel offerings on Wednesday’s so that we can continue to help these children! DO YOU SHOP AT STAPLES?! WE NEED SOME NUMBERS FROM YOUR RECEIPT, and Staples will give us up to 5% back to use on our October purchases. We currently have a $36.17 October school credit thanks to a Classroom Rewards program that Staples has going on through September 15. To help us out, you can enter the receipt yourself, or get it to Connie at the school office by this Friday and she can enter it for you and give the receipt right back (it just takes a few seconds). You can also take a picture of the receipt and email it to her on FastDirect or at lutheransecretary@yahoo.com, or make a copy and drop it in the black mailbox out front. The Classroom Rewards Program goes from 5/15/19 to 9/15/19, and we will use that reward money to buy classroom supplies/ink/etc, to help keep YOUR costs down! …(continued) -1-
