ITBS TESTING WEEK is THIS WEEK!!!!!, April 19-23; Students will be testing in the mornings during this week. Students who arrive late will not be admitted into a classroom until the class finishes testing in progress. Covid Update - Hallelujah! NOTHING TO REPORT!!! And now, it’s time for the CARDINAL SHOUTOUT; a place for us to recognize how talented and diversified our students are! Isabella Strassle and Lauren King won 2nd and 3rd place in the Daughters of the American Revolution’s American History Essay Contest! CONGRATULATIONS! We also celebrate First Lutheran School current and former students for their magnificent performances in the play “Oklahoma”!: Adysan Connelly, Kade Burkett, Gabby Costello, Kylie Flowers, Abby Garrison, Jaclyn Heitman, Janie Heitman, Jordyn Heitman, Porter Hunt, Kylie Kozarevich, Kate Shepherd, Kaden Swords, and Lauren Zimmerman. PRAYERS ARE APPRECIATED for all of our field trippers this time of year. Always, please be praying for our ECE, elementary, and middle school students and chaperones as they visit sites near home, and our 8th graders and chaperones as they begin their week-long trip on Monday to a variety of stops, culminating in Mount Rushmore! We pray for safe travels, lots of learning, and memories that will last a lifetime. (SEND PICTURES!) MISSING MASKS: We have a collection of found masks in the office. They have been laundered. Please come by and see if any of them are yours/your kids. SCHATTE MEMORIAL EXTRAVAGANZA: We invite our church & school families and the Ponca City community to join us Saturday, May 1st in the FLS parking lot for live music, scavenger hunt, vendors, and a BBQ Cookoff! Do all your Mother’s Day and graduation shopping in one place while tasting some of the best BBQ around! Tasting kits can be purchased for $12 the day of the event – no need to purchase in advance!
