Nothing to report concerning Covid, but we want you to know that our school secretary Connie Erickson's cancer has returned. She had been in remission for four years. More tests are being run this Friday and then a course of action will be determined. Please pray. JOKE OF THE WEEK: Sorry, but I am giving up jokes for Lent.

The SCHATTE MEMORIAL COOKOFF: May 7th we’ll be hosting our 3rd annual Schatte Memorial Cookoff! If you’re interested in signing up as a vendor or Cookoff team, contact Jennifer Heitman at flcsnextgen@gmail.com . APRIL 4-8 ITBS TESTING: 2nd – 8th Grade! Please be sure your student is on time, doesn’t have any morning doctor appointments, and eats a healthy breakfast to start their day right! (See attached flyer for more information.) LOCAL WELLNESS POLICY REVIEW: DHS and the NSLP require us to have a Local Wellness Policy and to evaluate it periodically. Anyone is welcome to participate, and if you would like to participate in this process, please contact the office with your name and phone number and we will contact you when it is time. Interested parties may review our Wellness Policy at any time by going to www.fastdir.com/flcspc and clicking on “links” on the left, or you may view it in person, hanging on the bulletin board in the lunchroom. Thank you for your interest in this process. Mr. Birnbaum: I just want to expand on the Covid / Cancer Update article above. We pray that Connie will continue to be able to work for us during treatment and we will put extra precautions in place again to try to keep her healthy. She is a WEALTH of knowledge and skills that keeps our school running. CARDINAL CARE – Ms. Vap: Summer Daycare Sign-ups are now available. Information packets can be found in the Daycare Lobby. If you need summer care for your child, please sign up before April 14th, as we will open up enrollment to the public if there are any spots still available. Cardinal Care - Please be sure to let the office know if your child will be arriving after 9:30am so that we may order them a lunch. All Ages - Parents, please be sure to check your child in and out on the Brightwheel app every day. There is a kiosk provided at the desk and/or a sign-in/out sheet for backup purposes. If you need any assistance, please let us know. MUSIC  – Mrs. Brey: ECE students are exploring how high and low their voices can go, learning the musical terms for loud and quiet, and moving around to different styles of music. Elementary students have been working with hand drums, tennis balls, and basketballs and working on steady beat. Middle school students will be starting to –1–
