FOREWORD Silver Angel was a project that I started about 10 years ago. It was conceived on the notion of two rival clans of immortals, with two of their ranks coming together and falling in love. The idea wasn’t an original one (take Romeo and Juliet, for instance), but I liked the angle of immortality thrown in, plus unique powers they possessed. I have to admit, when the movie Underworld hit the big screen in 2003, I was a little depressed that I’d been one-upped by Hollywood. Although the movie contained the two clans of werewolves and vampires, it was still uncomfortably close to my immortal star-crossed lovers. One of my friends pointed out the story seemed awfully close to the movie, with a strong female role in it. In frustration, I returned to my story, determined I’d turn it into a love story that would make the movie pale in comparison. I think, hopefully, I have succeeded that much. Silver Angel is now a three part story. The writing styles and character viewpoints alter during the series. This is important, because I wanted to experiment with sampling the feelings and emotions of the characters in different ways throughout the entire story. My goal was to present a story filled with love, angst and joy. A story of a war between two opposing factions of immortals, and the pain it causes many. And ultimately, a reconciliation between all immortals. So, without further ado, I present to you, my story in its entirety.
