MONEY TALK
QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER • WINTER EDITION
Message From Our President
The new year is an ideal time to review accomplishments and strategize. An ongoing evaluation with member surveys and focus groups is part of our process of identifying strengths and areas for improvement. They allow us to formulate enhancements that address pain points, improving your experience. If you have participated in a member survey or focus group, thank you for your feedback. If not, please share your experience in our upcoming member survey to help keep Triangle as the top credit union in NH!
Improving your experience means more convenient, flexible, and efficient services, and our Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) are a step in that direction. Since 2019, we have added 20 ITMs to our branches, offering the
Triangle Credit Union’s 86th Annual Meeting
convenience of a live video teller during regular business hours at a cash dispensing machine. As more members adapt to the self-service kiosks, we will assess the viability of extending member support beyond traditional banking hours. Additionally, TCU will begin the integration of a new operating platform, allowing even more functionality.
Identity protection will remain a top priority in 2025. With more benefits in Better Checking, including protection for members and their households, we will remain vigilant in our effort to reduce financial fraud. Visit our financial literacy site, Triangleuniversity.org to learn about tips to protect yourself and your assets.
Will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 7:00PM. Register online at trianglecu.org to participate virtually or in-person.1
Triangle Credit Union invites members to the 86th Annual Meeting to review the credit union’s operational performance and to allow for election of Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee members.
According to Triangle Credit Union’s by-laws, we are providing written notice to our members that there will be no nominations from the floor.2

Telehealth Service
Is On The Rise: What You Need To Know To Keep Your Information Safe
Telehealth is a way for health providers to diagnose, treat, and communicate with patients remotely, by phone or video. Telehealth is a quick and easy alternative to your typical doctor’s appointment, but it could also be a quick and easy way for cybercriminals to find targets. Here are some ways to safeguard your personal information while using telehealth services.
Keep Your Device Current
Whether you connect to telehealth using a smartphone or a computer, make sure the device is up-to-date with the latest security patches. This includes updating all applications, not just the ones used for telehealth purposes. Each app is a potential point of entry for cybercriminals. If the bad guys gain access to your device in any way, then your sensitive medical information will be at risk.

Use an Advanced Login Telehealth services typically require users to create a username and password. If the service offers Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), use it! MFA requires you to enter your password and then enter another form of verification, such as a code sent via text message. If MFA isn’t offered, we recommend using a password manager to generate and securely store complex passwords.
Connect with a Secure Network
Never use a public Wi-Fi connection for telehealth services. You never know who could be watching and tracking your activity. When connecting from home, be sure to set up a strong password for your router. Default router passwords are often public knowledge or easy to guess. For the most secure network, connect to a virtual private network (VPN), which encrypts web traffic to protect your information.
