The Faber Agency of Allstate Insurance is known for their friendly and knowledgeable service. The staff treats each client as if they were their own family member, and they are determined to prove to clients that they can trust the Faber Agency with all of their insurance needs.

“We do not quote policies ‘apples to apples,’” Kristin Faber, owner of Faber Agency, said. “Once we determine your needs, we can provide the proper insurance coverage. The policy quote is based on coverage needs, and then we’ll explain and educate you.”

The Faber Agency specializes in personal insurance that ranges from life insurance and retirement planning to home, condo, renters, auto, motorcycle, boat and off-road vehicle insurance. Between Kristin and her two longest-tenured associates — Debby Eagle and Lisa Fraser — the office has over 50 years of combined experience.

Growing up in Wixom, Kristin used to frequently visit Novi where her father and grandfather worked at the Allstate office. She began working part time for an Allstate agent while she was attending Michigan State University and later earned her insurance license. Shortly after graduating with her bachelor’s degree in accounting, Kristin began working for her dad at Allstate.

Thirteen years later, when Kristin’s dad decided to retire, she purchased the business from him. “I am so blessed to be able to carry on this family business and serve the wonderful community here,” she said.

Although it seems natural for Kristin to carry on the family legacy, she had no desire to do so when she was younger. “It took me years to discover what type of work my dad did,” she admitted. “I had no intentions of taking this path until his accountant directed me here. He thought that having an accounting background would be great for me, but this business was the best fit for my future.”

Protecting over 16 million households from many of life’s uncertainties, Allstate was founded in 1931 and is the largest publicly held insurer for personal lines in the nation. For Kristin and her team, however, it’s all about making sure that clients are treated properly and like family. “We look forward to helping you with all of your insurance needs,” she concluded with a smile.
