A Steady Rise to Success Through Drive and Determination

Built on his passion for helping as many people as possible while also providing superior customer service, Joe Samona has achieved real estate business success at Keller Williams Domain. His dedication and commitment is reflected in his client referrals, industry awards and lifelong relationships among clients, peers and partners.

Joe began working in residential real estate in 2012, and shortly thereafter, he transitioned into the commercial side of the business. In 2020, he realized that his true strength was in residential real estate after all.

Joe’s client base quickly began to build, and so did his confidence. As he was climbing the ladder, Joe was setting and accomplishing goals and continuously searching for bigger challenges. His biggest hurdle was getting to and crossing the $5-million mark. “When I joined KW Domain, I asked the amazing team to help me reach my goal,” he recalled. “I believe in the power of mentorship, and I am happy to say, I surpassed my goal, and I am now on track to reach $12 million for the year and projected to reach north of $20 million in 2022!”

Growing up, Joe admired how his father’s real estate work helped people in his community. Throughout the process of a client securing one of their biggest financial investments, Joe saw his father bring support and joy into each one of their lives. Joe’s desire to do the same played a major role in his decision to forego his original plan to practice law after he scored exceptionally well on the LSAT. “While I was influenced by my father, my family always encouraged me to be whoever I wanted to become,” he said.

Since Joe hit his stride in real estate success, he hasn’t lost sight of his values by keeping his faith at the center of his work. “My trust in God has defined my path in life,” he shared. “I believe everything works out as it is intended to in life. It’s hard not to get discouraged, especially when things happen beyond my control, but I learned early on to stay the course and to never give up.”

Joe’s determination and unwavering work ethic has put smiles on his clients’ and co-workers’ faces — a reward that he says is worth more than a paycheck. “The feeling of being a part of someone’s biggest financial decision is truly rewarding and humbling,” he said.

While Joe’s savvy business acumen and sterling negotiation skills have increased his sales numbers, it is his ability to treat every client equally that has set him apart from others. “I treat every deal the same,” he said. “Never underestimate the power or value of any one transaction. I once sold a $40,000 investment property on a land contract that led to an almost $2 million referral, which I closed on. When you give the same amount of respect to every client, great things will happen.”

The highest priority in Joe’s life is his family. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his parents, family and friends. Joe also likes traveling, sharing meals with family and friends, and supporting charitable organizations within the community.

“As a real estate agent, the greatest feeling comes when I call a client and tell them to get ready for closing,” Joe said. “Getting to the finish line is my favorite part of what I do. It’s a truly satisfying experience that keeps me smiling from ear to ear.”

The key to Joe’s success is his drive and determination. “When business is booming, don’t slow down,” he shared. “When business seems like it’s slow and you don’t know what to do, never give up, because at the end of the day — although this is your livelihood — you are helping people make huge financial decisions.” Joe’s ability to keep a client-first mentality in every transaction has made him an agent on the rise and certainly one to watch.
