FACSIMILE of the Assent to a License to leave home granted to John, afterwards Sir John , Beaumont of Grace Dieu , a recusant convict . Signed by Henry Hastings, Earl of Huntingdon. The date, being old style, would be the 25th of January, 1610 , according to present reckoning. The seal, which has notphotographed well, shows Out of a coronet , a bull's head erased, surroundedby a border inscribed Honorabo Honorantes , and surmounted by an Earl's coronet . The paper mark is the water- pot. The document wasleft to the Library of the Jesuit Fathersat Farm Street, London, by the late Father John Morris , S.J.
