Dive into acting, singing, and dancing while fostering confidence and creativity. Broadway Bootcamp is designed to teach the basics of performance: acting, music and movement while exploring hidden talents, and expanding natural gifts and building confidence. Students will be immersed in activities that support their whole self as a performer. Each day begins with physical and vocal warm-ups before playing a plethora of acting and improv games. Early in the week we determine which shows strike up the group's interest and as a group, decide which scenes, songs, and dances to learn from those productions or films. Throughout the week, as we rehearse, we'll work on characterization, how to sing songs successfully, and some basic musical theater blocking and choreography.
