Dear Member of the Oklahoma State Medical Association, As Speakers of the OSMA House of Delegates, we are pleased to invite you to the 120th Annual Meeting on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.

The Annual Meeting is open to all OSMA members, and you must be credentialed as a delegate and attend in person to vote The meeting will be streamed via Zoom to non-voting members
Those interested in helping decide the future of the medical association should consider becoming a delegate, and we encourage you to contact your county society or section representatives to learn about how you can become a delegate.
Please note: Delegate slots are allocated according to county society/section rules and bylaws. All delegates must also register for the OSMA Annual Meeting at my okmed org/AM2026 and be able to attend the event in person on April 18. In addition to voting at the in-person meeting, delegates must be available to participate in the discussions and our association's decisionmaking process.

The Oklahoma State Medical Association coordinates the program, ensuring a seamless experience for all volunteers.

Todd S. Redding, MD
Nov 26, 1964 - Jan 25, 2026
Todd Scott Redding passed away on January 25, 2026, from a sudden heart event at the age of 61. He lived a vibrant life, leaving a legacy of love and kindness that continues to shape those who knew him.
Todd was born in Omaha, Nebraska on November 26th, 1964, and was adopted as a newborn to Paul and Nancy Redding He and his older brother, Brad Redding, spent a few childhood years in Nebraska before the family moved to Wichita Falls, Texas when Todd was 4 years old. From a young age Todd excelled in school and was a gifted piano and trombone player. Growing up, he enjoyed animals, music, and cars- interests he carried into adulthood Todd was accepted to Trinity University in San Antonio on an academic scholarship and graduated in He went on to earn his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX in 1991 and completed residency in Waco, TX During his time in medical school, Todd met Elizabeth Haley and they were married 1989-2000. Their two children, Allison and Andrew Redding, remained central in Todd's life.
Todd started his practice in Bartlesville, OK and later moved to Tulsa in 2005 Todd's career path expanded when he became a board-certified addiction medicine physician in 2009. Todd devoted his professional career to enhancing the health of his patients in every walk of life. He strongly believed his work as a physician was a God-given purpose to serve and care for others Todd has remained an active member in his professional community. He was the current President of the Oklahoma Society of Addiction Medicine and a member of American Society of Addiction Medicine.
In 2019, during a dark period for them both, Todd and Tim reintroduced joy and love into each other's lives. They were married in 2020 Tim said being with Todd felt like coming home to comfort and peace Whether the world was glowing with light or falling apart, their love was steadfast and complete. Todd and Tim shared a love of travel, culture, and the performing arts. They frequently traveled to New York City, enjoyed Caribbean cruises, and held season tickets at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center They were also both active choir members at College Hill Presbyterian Church Todd also served as an elder at both College Hill and Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. Service to his community, in and outside the church, has been an integral part of his life's work.
Family was one of the most important values in Todd's life. In 2015, Todd reconnected with his birth mother, Patricia Gober, and they maintained a close relationship until her death in 2019. He cherished quality time with family and friends and went out of his way to make even simple occasions special and meaningful Todd defined his life by what he gave to others He had a remarkable way of making people feel welcomed and accepted exactly as they were His professional and personal pursuits were guided by selflessness, generosity, and quiet strength. Todd loved deeply, served humbly, and lived faithfully. His impact will continue to ripple through generations.
Todd is survived by his husband, Timothy Smith-Redding, his brother, Brad Redding (Bonnie) of La Grange, KY, his daughter, Allison Redding of Tyler, TX, his son, Andrew Redding (Caroline) of Chicago, IL, and his niece, Cierra Rohrbaugh (Connor) of Gunnison, CO He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Nancy Redding and his birth mother, Patricia Gober. A service celebrating Todd's life was held at College Hill Presbyterian Church on Saturday January 31, 2026.

NORTH TULSA: Neighbors talk healthcare at forum

TULSA, Okla. — Monday night, over food and fellowship, a group of North Tulsa neighbors discussed healthcare.
“Unfortunately, we know that just having a health insurance card, or access to care, will not fix the problem. So we have to look at it holistically,” Reggie Ivey, the executive director of the Northside Neighbors organization, said.
Ivey invited neighbors, along with a panel of medical pros, to take that holistic look. The problem he’s referencing is premature deaths from preventable causes like heart disease and diabetes.
Dr. Jabraan Pasha, the city’s Chief Health Officer, was a featured panelist. He said a TSET grant, worth more than $17 million, is set to play huge dividends in the neighborhood.
“It’s going to bring additional health-care services, pharmacy services, mental health services, but also community assets that we know will keep people healthy,” Pasha said.
2 News listened to Kimberly Reed, a lifelong North Tulsa neighbor.
“I think it’s great. I’m glad we’re getting the funding and getting recognized, and being able to provide the things that are needed here, cause there’s a lot of different things that are needed right here, where we don’t have to go out and find the places and find the doctors, things that we need,” Reed said.
Reed runs a daycare out of her home. She also takes care of her mom. Healthcare hits close to home, and she sees some gaps in her neighborhood.
“I just think we need a variety of services both for the elderly and children,” Reed said.
How does North Tulsa accomplish its lofty goals? How can health in the neighborhood flourish? Dr. Pasha says the resources surrounding health care are key.
“Just getting folks together, amplifying the needs for those, I think, can be really helpful, and having healthcare workers attest to how those resources can impact health,” Pasha said.
