New Student Orientation 2026 Schedule

WELCOME TO TABOR!

Welcome to the Tabor Family!

Welcome to your new Tabor Family. We are eager to help you navigate this new stage of your life. Our distinguished faculty and dedicated staff are here to support you and help make your college experience memorable, life-changing, and propel you wellprepared into the future. Since Tabor College is a Christ-centered school, we challenge you concerning faith in Jesus. We encourage you to read the scriptures concerning Jesus Christ, to understand his words and works, and to grow in your relationship with him. We also strongly encourage you to be an active learner, both in and out of the classroom. It is vitally important for you to be fully engaged academically, socially, and spiritually. So, get involved in relationships and in serving others both in and beyond the Tabor community.

This is the time to make a new start, so step outside of your comfort zone and do something that you would never have done before. Make new friends. Introduce yourself to someone you want to get to know. Try out for a sport or a worship team, join a group or student organization that you are interested in, or even take part in one of our theatre productions. This is the way to build friendships with fellow students that can last a lifetime. This is the way to develop lasting mentoring relationships with faculty and staff. This is the way to get the most out of your time here at Tabor College. This is the way! Enjoy the journey!

THIS YEAR’S THEME

Tabor College holds chapel weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays where staff, faculty and students come together to worship, hear God’s Word, and connect to one another.

Prayer isn’t meant to be empty words or just a routine we repeat—it’s meant to shape the way we live every day. In Matthew 6:9–13, Jesus gives us a model for prayer that is honest, personal, and deeply connected to real life. This year in chapel, we’ll explore how The Lord’s Prayer teaches us to trust God, seek His kingdom, depend on Him daily, ask for forgiveness, and find strength in every season of life. Because when prayer is real, life begins to change.
