The Lower Shore Workforce Alliance is proud to share our new Job Journal with you this month. Operating as a division of the Tri-County Council, we are one of the 13 workforce development boards in the state of Maryland. Through Job placement, certification, further education, and more—the Lower Shore Workforce Alliance does everything workforce. This Job Journal is provided free of cost to assist job seekers in the Tri-County area and features potential employment opportunities, further education & certification opportunities, and job supporting programs in this area.

Radiation Therapist Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Radiation Oncology Director, the Radiation Therapist performs a variety of technical procedures in order to apply ionizing radiation for tumor localization radiography and applies therapeutic doses of radiation for the treatment of disease or injury.
Radiation Therapist Position Requirements
Graduation from an approved school of Radiation Therapy, followed by registration in the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (A R R T ) in Radiation Therapy
Licensed by the State in which you live and work as a Radiation Therapist American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
One year of experience as a radiation therapist preferred but not required.
