A letter from the editor Hey Trailblazers! It can be intimidating to go to college. However, there are multiple resources available to you. This edition will include everything you need to navigate each campus and get the best experience possible at TCC. I’m Juan Ibarra, the editor-in-chief of TCC’s award-winning, student-run newspaper, The Collegian. We create a weekly newspaper with student stories and reviews for and about the TCC community. Included in this special edition are a variety of student discounts, apps and important resources to help you through your journey. At first glance, TCC may seem like a “classes only” college due to being a commuter school. However, TCC is the perfect place to get involved: You can join clubs, meet interesting people and make new friends.

Getting around on campus may seem confusing but you’ll be prepared with the maps in the back of this issue. Relax, look around and take comfort in knowing everyone here is pushing for your success. Do something new, push yourself and experience life here at TCC. Whether it be for the affordability or for the fun to be had, we hope you enjoy your time here. On behalf of The Collegian, welcome to the family!

Juan Ibarra Editor-in-Chief
