A Reform Congregation Embracing Our Jewish Tradition

You Can Share the Light! Join in Temple Beth Tikvah’s

Jewish children around the world love to celebrate Chanukah, the Festival of Lights! Chanukah is about celebrating freedom, bringing light into our world, rededicating ourselves to our People and Tradition, and educating another generation in Jewish values and faith. These are the greatest gifts we can give our children! This year, our Youth Committee is encouraging our families to focus our attention away from eight nights of gift-giving and towards illuminating our lives and our world with light through volunteering, acts of tzedakah and performing mitzvot!

Shabbat (Saturday), December 15 ~ 4:00-5:30 pm RSVP required to rsvp@bethtikvah.com Come together for a good ‘ole Chanukah Party. At our celebration, each family will make a “mitzvah menorah,” and we request that you bring a new, unwrapped book to replace the lost books in East Rockaway, New York’s school libraries. We will have other fun, meaningful activities for us to do together to benefit others in our community.
