Performing Arts Update The Performing Arts department has had a fantastic start to the year, with students already busy rehearsing, performing, creating, and collaborating across Music, Drama and Dance. There is plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead, including our popular Pop-Up and Teatime Concerts, Performing Arts Celebration Assemblies, and the much-anticipated Year 7 House Singing Competition. We are also excited to continue our collaboration with The Juilliard School, New York and look forward to welcoming our music and dance curriculum leads for two separate in-person visits in November. Our visitors will be working together with students, performing arts staff, and the wider school community. More details will be shared directly with parents ahead of the half term break.
Celebrating Success Beyond TBSW Many of our students are achieving incredible things beyond school through music examinations, theatre productions, dance competitions, concerts, and other performances. If your child has recently enjoyed success in the performing arts outside of TBSW, we would love to hear about it. Please share any achievements, along with photographs, if possible, with me, joanne.turner@thebritishschool.pl so we can celebrate them with our school community in future newsletters.
