Stony Brook Fire Department hosted its annual open house Oct. 13 at the Stony Brook Road Fire Station. The day included demonstrations, displays and activities for all ages. Attendees had the chance to meet Sparky, above left, the remote controlled dog who drives a miniature car and hears what people are saying to him and responds.
