Running the farm Annual 4-mile run: Brookhaven Town Councilman Kevin LaValle congratulates a few of the winners of the 4th annual Run the Farm 4-Mile Challenge Aug. 18. The yearly event takes runners on a course of mixed terrain that ends at the historic Bethel Hobbs Community Farm. The run benefits the Centereach farm which is devoted to servicing local food programs and pantries.
