hat could be more appropriate in the climate that we are ALL living in, but OUR HEALTH! The Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is proud to present our 2021 Health & Wellness Fest! This annual event took a hiatus in 2020, as did so many other events due to the pandemic. There is excitement in the air, welcoming the Fest to a new venue! This year our new location is the beautiful, renovated Meadow Club in Port Jefferson Station. Completely restored after their fire over two years ago, this facility offers the use of two ballrooms and new
attractive outdoor space. Returning are our major supporters, Stony Brook Medicine, NY Cancer and Blood Specialists, and Mather and St Charles Hospitals. Joined by other supportive businesses, this year’s event will have similar offerings as in the past. Vendors will range from life care facilities and meditation to fitness! New will be the Port Jefferson Rowing Club, demonstrating on their rowing machines. Fedora Lounge, a boutique style business located in Port Jefferson will explain about womens’ non-surgical hair replacement, micro links and more at their table, emphasizing
the importance of feeling well and looking fine! Performing background music will be “Music and Medicine” volunteers from Stony Brook University. The purpose of the organization is to bring musical therapy to people who are usually unable to attend concerts. Music and Medicine’s mission statement is “to bring the joy of music performance to the field of medicine”. For our younger audience we will have Trunk & Treat, an outdoor, safe event in the Meadow Club’s parking lot. Co-sponsored by “Give Kids Hope Inc” this activity will have healthy snacks for
