When I ask myself what I believe differentiates TK International from our competitors beyond our individual and collective experience, I tend to consider human qualities – in particular, sincerity and empathy. Sincerity doesn’t require elaboration; however, I believe sincerity and empathy are characteristics which are key to success.

We understand that all clients have their own background and story to tell and furthermore, we never lose sight of the fact that a person’s home is usually their most valuable and treasured asset – a tangible manifestation of a lifetime of aspiration and hard work. For these reasons, we understand that a property transaction, whether a sale or purchase, is a process which involves not only time and money, but a great deal of emotion, and that is why we tailor each interaction in a very bespoke and personal manner.

At present, we find ourselves at a particularly interesting point in time. The word “unprecedented” is often used too loosely, however one could certainly argue that we are in unprecedented times. For the first time in more than a decade, we have returned to rising interest rates, which comes against a backdrop of soaring inflation and yet, unparalleled government borrowing. Despite this however, the local property market appears to be holding up rather robustly.

Furthermore, given the volatile stock markets and “risk on” investments, and with seemingly few obvious places to invest capital, experience teaches us those tangible assets, particularly in the shape of bricks and mortar, prove time and again to provide the safest port in a storm. This is largely why I believe prime investable areas of London such as Hampstead will continue to attract investment with a huge influx of foreign investment due to the faltering pound. We recognise that being a good agent sometimes means giving the difficult but necessary advice to buyers or sellers and doing so in a sensitive and appropriate manner. I never lose sight of the fact that this is a people and relationship business. Our intention is to leave all parties feeling they have come away from the process having had a good experience, so much so that they would recommend TK International’s services. I take great satisfaction from knowing that many of our clients come to us via recommendation.

Being part of a dynamic and experienced team at TK International, makes a huge difference to the working day and I believe it is our vast collective knowledge, experience and talent, in addition to a genuine passion for providing excellent service which separates us from our competition. I am privileged to head up a team which so brilliantly utilises those collective assets and I am determined that the excellent service we offer to all our customers will continue.
