Hello everyone,
Welcome to our special commemorative edition of Target, to celebrate both the fantastic achievement of our people in Tayside Contracts, and the tremendous evening that unfolded just a few weeks ago, to honour them.
To every team and every individual who were nominated for an Award, I offer my sincerest congratulations once again. The entries were all amazing, and I hope our finalists and winners can look through this edition of Target with great pride in what you achieved. The high quality of the award entries - showcasing so many excellent examples of public service, innovation, teamwork and dedication - genuinely inspired and humbled me and my fellow judges.
Your commitment to what you do, to support our local communities, and helping each other, was absolutely outstanding, and I thank you wholeheartedly for all you have achieved.
I’m sure everyone who was at the TEA Awards ceremony will agree this was a great event, enjoyed by all, and we are indebted to the many months of hard work by our Excellence Awards Project Team, who made this such a magical and memorable evening. And extra special thanks for the people who took the time and great care to nominate your colleagues and teams for awards - without you there would be no finalists or winners!
I'm already looking forward to being blown away by the nominations for next year's Tayside Excellence Awards entries and hope you and your team are going to be nominated. You never know, you may be next year’s winner!
