Gail Gillis and Ian Grant

SheinstigatedtheTownGarageSaleandtheTownElectronicCalendar.Ian’sfocushas beentheTaturaMen’sShed,VictoryHallandtheTaturaFilmClub. Hevolunteersatthe Community House and helped establish the Tatura Mini Market.
Sports Award –
Stephanie Wilton
Steph is a young sportswoman with a true commitment to doing and being her best. She plays and umpires netball and has been swimmer for many years competing in meets around the state. Steph is vice-captain of the Shepparton Swimming Club and mentors a group of young swimmers.
Business Award –
John Maher, Maher Independent Breeding John is a leader in his specialised area in the dairy industry in Australia. His business has evolved from performing artificial insemination and pregnancy testing to teaching breeders these skills. His skills are highly sought after by Royal Show Committees in Australia, New Zealand, Ecuador and the United States. John was unable to be at the ceremonyduetoworkcommitmentsinNewZealand. Theawardwas collectedonhisbehalfbyhiswifeSandy,sonRobbieandfatherBernie.
Young Citizen of the Year –
Maoinin Dooley-Heath
Maoinin was awarded the Spirit of ANZAC prize and represented Victoria on a trip to Gallipoli and the Western Front. She is a keen community member with involvement in netball, basketball, rowing and church.
