MIDDLE SCHOOL SKILLS Sessions

1 & 2, ages 11-13

This course is designed to prepare students who are already studying in English full-time for the challenges that they will face in early high school English and mathematics classes. The material presented is geared towards Grade 7-8 reading, writing, and mathematics levels. The mathematics course consists of a review of past material and an introduction to new concepts such as fraction rules and computation, integer operations, and solving equations. In the English component, you will read texts and explore the writing process as well as develop your writing, comprehension, and public speaking skills.
