Expressions of Interest:
Strengthening Governance: CEO and Chair Masterclass Program Context: A key priority of the Community Services Industry Plan 2021-2031 is to ensure the community services industry is well governed and viable, with leadership that enables strong and connected community services to deliver the right services, in the right place, at the right time. It is of vital importance that leaders are appropriately skilled, knowledgeable and supported to adeptly navigate changes including increasing need, disruptions, reforms and regulatory requirements.
EOI Request: TasCOSS is seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) from experienced providers to design and deliver a governance Masterclass Program. The Masterclass will include in-person session/s for approximately 20 participants – 10 CEOS and the corresponding Chairs of their Boards. The program will provide participants with the opportunity to further develop governance skills and knowledge to equip them in their roles as leaders in contemporary community services. EOIs should outline effective ways to provide the in-person Masterclass session/s to a group of busy leaders with multiple competing demands. EOIs should also outline how participants will be supported with processes to assist them to put their learning into practice. It is anticipated this customised Masterclass Program for CEOs and Chairs will be well-received, delivering a unique opportunity to focus on supporting strategic relationships and reinforcing contemporary leadership approaches, knowledge and skills required for community service organisations to rise to any challenge. The program will be evidenced-informed using adaptive leadership approaches and good governance principles for the industry to continue to deliver accountable, ethical, innovative and high-quality services to Tasmanians. The maximum budget to design and deliver this Masterclass Program is $15,000 excl GST.
EOI Requirements: As a first step, TasCOSS is seeking broad-brush EOIs. Providers are not expected to develop detailed proposals for the EOI at this initial stage. Details will be worked out in a subsequent stage of the process. EOIs should outline the following information:
