About Greenhithe Wharf Greenhithe wharf supplies processed marine sourced aggregate into the construction industry of Essex and East London. The wharf lies on the south bank of the River Thames just downstream of the Queen Elizabeth Road Bridge.

Sand and gravel processed by marine wharves now contribute to about a third of the total used in construction across the South East.

Our wharf at Greenhithe is an important part of that supply network.

Materials The sand and gravel at Greenhithe is processed to produce high grade aggregates for the construction sector. Processing takes place at the wharf and materials are supplied immediately into construction with tonnages stockpiled to provide supply assurance.
