Why Poland?

Consumption of wine in Poland rises steadily each year. Statistically, every Pole drinks around 7 litres of wine. Even though Poles drink wine more often, they still drink it 10 times less than for example Frenchmen or Portuguese. Poland, with 38 million of citizens, is an attractive market for producers and distributors of wine, which can be proved by the fact that sales of wine rises a few percent every year. What’s more, the Polish market is far from saturation.

The Trade Fair is organised together with 25th International Trade Fair of Hotel and Catering Equipment HORECA® and 16 th Food and Drinks for Catering Trade Fair GASTROFOOD®. The 9th Winemaking Competition for ®

ENOEXPO 2017 MEDAL The aim of this competition is to select the best wines in specific categories and award them with ENOEXPO® 2017 TRADE FAIR MEDALS. The competition can be entered by both producers and importers of wine, independently of whether they exhibit at ENOEXPO® 2017 or not. Participants can enter wines which are already well known and avail¬able in Poland or those which they are planning to introduce to the Polish market.

Your products will be evaluated by a jury of independent experts: experienced journalists and specialists in the wine industry.

The comprehensive promotion ENOEXPOÂŽ Trade Fair consists not only of exhibition stands but also winemaking competitions and rich programme of seminars and workshops, which brings opportunity to promote your company also in additional ways. ENOEXPO WINE ACADEMY This is our accompanying programme to ENOEXPO® which puts together comprehensive tutorials and workshops on the industry. From the origins of different wines and their characteristics to wine service in the catering industry: how to build a restaurant’s wine list, pairing wine with a particular food or dish through to service and tasting. It features tastings of wines from every part of the world conducted by the top wine professionals in Poland.

ENOARENA A stage in a heart of the event that is ready and open for public meetings with the most interesting individuals from the world of wine and HoReCa. We managed to conduct the meetings with e.g. António Rios de Amorim (Portugal), Zoltán Heimann (Hungary), Ivo Varbanov (Bulgaria) or Bogdan Trojak (Czech Republic).

This is also a perfect platform to raise the profile of any kind of awarding ceremony. The ENOARENA is where the opening of the Trade Fair takes place, ENOEXPO® Medals in the Winemaking Competition are handed and all prestigious plebiscites are organised.
