What if
your car didn’t need gasoline ?
What if it was pulled by a pack of sled dogs. Or how about if it ran on kangaroo power ? Interesting, but that’s never going to happen. So, we decided that the gasoline we make here at Irving should be cleaner. A lot cleaner. And we’ve started by removing 90% of the sulfur from our gasoline. Because less sulfur basically means a cleaner environment. And that’s a pretty good ‘what if’.

What if
cars could run without gasoline ?
What if we just strapped rockets on them ? Probably not the best idea. We figured that if cars had to run on gasoline, the smartest thing was to just make it cleaner. So we removed 90% of the sulfur from the gasoline we make here at Irving. Six years before government regulations. The result ? Fewer emissions. Cleaner air. And no rockets anywhere near your car. Excellent ‘what if’.

les autos pouvaient rouler à n’importe quoi? Heu...
grains de café, roues d’exercice pour hamsters ou encore gros élastiques à tordre? Avouons-le, les chances sont minces. En effet, la plupart des voitures consomment encore de l’essence et devraient continuer à le faire longtemps! Alors nous avons éliminé 90% du soufre dans l’essence produite par Irving. Six ans avant la réglementation gouvernementale. Qui dit moins de soufre dit moins d’émissions, donc de l’air plus propre! Comme quoi certains «Et si?» méritent toute notre attention.
