Spark is one of the best-known brands in Aotearoa. The locally owned-and-operated Spark Business Hubs want to be the strategic technology partner for the country’s small and medium businesses.

Taranaki-Whanganui-Manawatu is these days a region in itself, locally owned and operated by Charanpreet Singh, who is an experienced businessman in his own right and vastly experienced in providing right technology solutions through IT managed services, cloud services, IOT and telco.

Charan, as he’s known, also has proven experience in sales and after-sales service working for Spark previously, and is keen to extend Spark’s relationship with Taranaki businesses. He’s based in Palmerston North but has a team of 14 sales/service staff who look after Spark’s business customers in his region. Locally, the Taranaki team of four is led by Joshua Ferries, along with the local IT partner network in New Plymouth.

Charan rightly says the advent of Covid has brought technology advances faster than otherwise would have happened.

“That is especially true in business, he said, “with many people working from home that brought separate challenges.”

Spark was to the fore in many ways to help businesses overcome the challenges they hadn’t faced before.

“We helped many businesses adjust and we are happy to come to you to find the solutions you need.’’

Charan emphasises that frequently during the interview.

“Spark is local these days and we connect with local businesses. We are here to help.

“For example, we recently delivered a project in Manawatu to provide mobile phones and connectivity to over 500 local whanau. Their need for connectivity grew out of the Covid pandemic, as those who didn’t have the luxury of mobile phones were struggling to communicate with one another around testing and reporting symptoms. We responded to their request by providing Unlimited Data within their budgets. Essentially, the Hub designed a solution to fit the future.”

Ample evidence that Spark in 2022 can provide solutions for problems that people may not even be aware exist!
