Make a Difference Dear friends, Since IHA first opened its doors fifty-six years ago, we have continued our mission to provide the highest quality Catholic education, a spiritual atmosphere that exemplifies Christian values, and a diverse variety of service and recreational opportunities to all of the students we serve.

In the early years, extracurricular activities and athletics were just beginning to become an important part of the school community.

Over the past half century, we have expanded those programs along with the academic curriculum to ensure students become well-rounded individuals. IHA’s Annual Fund is the lifeline for many families who struggle to afford a quality Catholic education; it is the main source for our school’s financial aid and academic award program. And so, during my first year as president of IHA, I’m asking you, one of those extraordinary people upon whom IHA relies, to help by making a special contribution.

The Annual Fund is comprised of unrestricted gifts used to support our mission of providing an outstanding, affordable Catholic education to young women. These gifts are among the most important to our school, as they are used to enhance our students’ education as well as help them meet new challenges.

Additionally, gifts may be designated toward a specific program, scholarship, or need.

IHA by the Numbers • Students completed more than 34,000 service hours in the 2015-16 school year.

• The Class of 2016 earned 100% college acceptance, receiving more than $40 million in scholarships.

• Current students have received more than $800,000 in aid and merit scholarships.

• Each year, countless IHA alumnae journey to participate in career panels, Reunion Weekend, Traveling Plaid events, and 50th Anniversary celebrations.

• IHA athletic teams earned 24 championships in the 2015-16 school year.

• Each year, more than 700 students participate in 50+ clubs.

• This year’s graduating class will bring us to more than 10,000 alumnae!
