This was originally an IBAK put together by Yuri (3rd party) which proved to be not very beneficial, and Kevin ended up pulling out all of the components and turning it into a beautifully placed and wired CUES unit using the components from CTV1242 which had an older chassis…
To the unfamiliar eye, it doesn’t look like much, but to a CCTV operator, the placement of everything and tidiness of cords and whatnot can make such a big difference over the course of a day Kevin completed this retrofit while still keeping up with all the mainline and crossbore CCTV unit repairs – we ’ re up to 18 camera trucks; that’s no small feat!
