A WORD FROM THE PRO
Hello, Tapatio Members! We are delighted that the South Texas weather has returned to more typical winter conditions after the Arctic Blast in mid-January. It appears that the greens covers did an effective job in shielding surfaces from any freeze damage. As you can see , the temperature underneath the cover is approximately 4 degrees warmer than the uncovered areas. Now that we are back to playing conditions you will notice distinct ripples that align with the patterns of the greens covers. The areas where the greens covers didn't make direct contact with the surface have made the formation of these patterns.
We are very satisfied with the current results after the Arctic Blast recovery. Looking ahead to spring, the anticipation of warmer weather and the hope for some rain will hopefully create a smooth transition into the growing season. The success thus far is not only a testament to careful planning but also provides an opportunity to refine strategies for future seasons. If there are specific details or topics you'd like to explore further, feel free to share, and I'm here to assist!
