Again, I ask for everyone’s cooperation in limiting the amount of traffic on the fairways and drive on the cart paths as much as possible. In the photo below, you’ll see what happens when someone drives through an area that is obviously too wet for cart traffic. We will be placing more rope barriers on the course to help direct traffic, but please pay attention to where you are driving and avoid muddy or wet areas, as this damage is difficult to repair and will remain for a long time.

Nina weather pattern that brought us the exceptional drought conditions for the last two year, to a more “normal” pattern of rainfall. Well, as of April 27th when this article was written, we are way ahead of last year’s total. At this point last year, we received only 1.27 inches of rain. Fortunately, at this point this year we have totaled almost 5.5 inches!!! You can already see a huge difference in the conditions of the fairways, and we’ve been fortunate enough to allow some cart traffic on the fairways. For the foreseeable future, we will continue the rotation of nineholes for a week at a time where carts will be confined to the paths, and the other nine holes utilizing the 90-degree rule. The goal of these limitations is to preserve the best possible playing conditions for you, our members, and your cooperation is vital.
