Due to a resort buy out, the pool area will be closed during these times. This includes the resort & adult pool, hot tubs & event lawn. The Golf Course and La Cascada will remain open to all. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

MGA TAPATIO CUP

Last week the Men’s Golf Association announced the scheduling of the annual Tapatio Cup competition for Friday and Saturday, June 27 and 28. Since then, 58 golfers have committed to playing in the event, an unprecedented signup rate! Perhaps that’s due to the commitment of the Board to reach out to all club members, encouraging every male golfer to join in the fun in this tournament, one of two major events, the other being upcoming Member/Guest tournament in September.
This year ’ s Tapatio Cup will feature premier events on Thursday evening when the team assignments are made by the Captains of the Red and Blue teams, including a putting contest and a long drive contest (flighted by age).
The tournament includes a $25,000 hole-in-one cash prize on both days, closest to the pin on all par 3 holes, along with lunch after the Saturday round. Also included are individual prizes for the winning team, complimentary hats and towels.
As a further inducement for signing up, non-MGA members will be allowed to join the MGA for the balance of the year for only $20, one half of the annual rate. Also, weekday members will only be charged $30 for the round on Saturday.
If you ’ re interested in joining in the fun, you ’ re advised to sign up now, as the available spots are being taken up quickly. Once the 72 player limit is reached, you’ll be listed as an alternate.
The entry fee for all the above is only $75!
