No cold coffee: The Nissen News Flash
Dear Readers,
Finally, the time has come. Hot off the presses, this is Page 4 the first edition of the new Nissen News Flash. Road Equip. Days 2013 / News from both inside Exhibition preview and outside the Nissen Nissen is expanding Group and information about traffic engineering should keep you up-to-date in future. In doing so, we‘ll endeavour to avoid “serving up” the obvious technical issues – we’ll leave the “cold coffee” to those who have few new things to report. You won’t be reading about how hot-galvanizing is “yet again an advancement” for trailers, for instance. This is the case with the trailers we have been independently manufacturing for nearly 20 years and needs no further explanation. And we aren‘t going to try to “sell” you our Multi-Light 340 LED L9H tested according to WL7 as something new – it’s been the state of the art with us for a long time and is certified according to EN 12352 took place years ago. To us a “news flash” has to be more than just a lighthouse on the horizon. With a wink, it may also shine a light on the things we do in everyday life.
Steel-Pro 500 – narrow in profile, but big in effect With the NisTech Steel-Pro 500 you can set up roadworks and driving lanes quickly, safely and in conformance to standards. Innovatively designed, developed in line with the market. With the new Steel-Pro 500 NisTech engineers were successful in starting a new product offensive in the field of mobile safety barriers according to EN 1317-2. During the test in May 2012 by DEKRA Neumünster the Steel-Pro 500 (T1/W2) with a length of 12 m/unit and a height of 51 cm was successfully crash tested (DEKRA Test No. SH 12.40). Unanchored, the new system on the market attained containment level W2 and was also given an “A” for impact severity level. Equally successfully tested was the required tilt length limiter (KLB) (DEKRA Test No. SH 13.15). “We are very satisfied to once more be able to offer our customers an innovative product to round off our range of products. At only 29.5 kg per meter, we provide the option of offering 600 m per truck load capacity. This enables our customers to plan their construction site equipment more quickly and thus economically“, said Oliver Tauffenbach, NisTech CEO. “Our engineers have once again done an outstanding job, giving the green light to the NisTech family of mobile safety equipment“. According to Mr Tauffenbach, upon completion of the T1 series testing has already begun for more traffic barriers.
With this in mind, we hope you enjoy reading it. Your feedback, praise or criticism is always welcome.
