SEASAC Senior Swimming @ CDNIS HK

The Merlions stormed the SEASAC Swim Meet in Hong Kong over the weekend, with the girls crowned back-to-back SEASAC Champions, and together with the boys team the Merlions topped the combined pointscore for the first time!

Not only were the individual performances great at our ultimate TEAM competition of the year, but team support, culture and chemistry is at an all time high and everyone; swimmers, parents and coaches, could feel and feed off that energy. A huge well done to all swimmers, with an additional mention to our MVPs:

Siobhan Haughey Visit

The Senior swim team celebrated their epic SEASAC performance with a visit from current World Champion and double Tokyo Olympic Silver Medalist,... Hong Kong superstar Siobhan Haughey. Siobhan shared parts of her journey from Hong Kong school girl through to World Champion swimmer, as well as useful tips on how to manage pressure and balance academic commitments. The Merlions will be cheering her on at the Paris Olympic Games!

SAS: Friday Night Lights - Badminton Invitational

The Tanglin Badminton 19U Boys and Girls team was invited to compete in the Singapore American School's Friday Night Lights event. Our opponents included formidable teams like UWC Dover, UWC East, and the Singapore American School. This invitational provided valuable warm-up matches for our players, gearing them up for the upcoming ACSIS and SEASAC Competitions.
