The Merlions were treated to a day they will never forget, having triple Olympic Champion Adam Peaty and the AP Race Team delivering a Masterclass to the Juniors, and a full day Performance Clinic to our Seniors last weekend.
Their “Energy, Effort and Purpose” were on full display for all the students and parents to feed off. There were four separate workshops, 'Racing Edge' with Olympic Team GB performance psychologist Tom Bates. 'Gym' with Adam's S&C coach Rob Norman, 'Parent Workshop' with Development Director Kevin Pickard, and 'Breaststroke' with Adam Peaty himself.

We have some amazing images of Adam engaging with the students and parents with his Olympic Gold medal from Rio 2016 in hand. Some of the individual coaching tips he gave to our swimmers were priceless. Certainly a day of swimming we wont forget. 'Better Than Yesterday'.

Junior School Cross Country
We are so proud of our Junior students for their fantastic effort and determination in our Personal Best (PB) for a Purpose cross-country event! Each child gave their all to try and beat their PB, and it was wonderful to see the energy, smiles, and encouragement from families on the day.

Jumpshot 3x3 Basketball Clinic
On Tuesday, our students thoroughly enjoyed working with professional basketball players as part of a Jumpshot Academy Clinic. Our 19&U players were put through their paces with a range of skill-based practices and game play, sharpening their decision-making, teamwork, and technical ability. The players inspired our students with their skills, energy, and passion for the game, making it a great experience for our basketballers.
Marek Klassen – Canadian point guard with over 10 years of pro experience in Europe and the NBA G League.
Attila Demeter – Hungary’s number one 3x3 player and long-time captain of the national team.
Filip Kraemer – Slovakian international and Austrian 3x3 national team player
