THE LION'S DEN Student Highlight Aden P - Golf We are delighted to congratulate Aden P (Year 8) on his selection to the Singapore National Golf Junior Development Squad, a significant achievement that recognises his dedication, talent, and consistent performance in the sport. Aden’s selection follows an outstanding second half of 2025, highlighted by his impressive 3rd-place finish in the SGA– BFG Order of Merit (12–14 Division). This strong showing has earned him a place in the Junior Development Squad under the Singapore Golf Association (SGA) High Performance Program, an initiative designed to nurture and develop the nation’s most promising young golfers. This achievement is a testament to Aden’s hard work, resilience, and commitment to excellence, both on and off the course. The Tanglin Trust School community is immensely proud of Aden and looks forward to following his continued progress as he represents himself, his school, and Singapore at the highest junior levels of the sport. We wish him every success in this exciting next chapter of his golfing journey.

THE LION'S DEN Student Highlight Shiv K - Squash We are delighted to share that Shiv K (Yr12) recently placed 12th at the Kuala Lumpur Junior Open, followed by a strong 7th-place finish at the Singapore Junior Open, and a commendable 29th at the British Junior Open against a highly competitive international field. As of 1 December 2025, he is ranked 12th in Asia in the Boys U17 category. At the centenary edition of the British Junior Open, Shiv delivered a series of standout performances. He pushed the tournament’s 5th seed and UK U17 National Champion in a closely contested match, before producing a remarkable comeback victory against the Dutch U17 Champion. After falling two sets behind — including a 0–11 second set — Shiv showed exceptional belief and discipline to turn the match around and win 3–2. In a dramatic fifth set, he recovered from match ball at 7–10 to clinch the decider 12–10. This performance highlighted his mental toughness and competitive spirit, and the experience gained at the British Junior Open 2026 will undoubtedly play a key role in his continued development.
