FOBISIA Games, Bangkok A Week of Outstanding Achievement
Our FOBISIA students enjoyed a fantastic week in Bangkok, taking part in the Junior FOBISIA Games just before the mid-term break. With seven schools competing in the Yellow Group this year, the level of competition was stronger than ever with all schools proving to be a formidable force across all four disciplines.
The three-day event saw every student participate in each of the four sports:
Day 1 – Athletics & Swimming
Day 2 – Tee Ball
Day 3 – Football
Throughout the week, our students represented Tanglin with pride and they rose to the challenge each day, delivering exceptional performances that made the entire community proud.
In athletics, our 11&U boys team set a new FOBISIA record in the 4x100m relay with an impressive time of 59.98 seconds.

Day two brought more success, with all four of our tee ball teams reaching their respective finals. The 10&U B team clinched the top spot in a thrilling final against Bangkok Patana.
The week ended on a high with a clean sweep in the football finals - all four Tanglin teams were crowned champions in their divisions, capping off an unforgettable week of sport. That marks two consecutive years of football dominance. Go Lions!

Over four days of elite competition at the Singapore National Swimming Championships(SNSC) during the half term break, our Merlions swimmers raced alongside the best in the country—including those vying for World Championship selection. The stakes were high, but so was the standard of racing from our athletes.
This meet also marked a meaningful milestone as we witnessed the final races for several of our Year 13 swimmers, who’ve worn the red cap with pride through their senior years.

June Football Camp
We rounded off our year of football camps with two fantastic days during the June break—complete with the full British summer experience: slightly overcast skies, a gentle breeze, and just enough grey to keep everyone on their toes!
Despite the weather doing its very best to be typically British, the energy on the pitch was anything but dull. From Year 1 to Year 8, it was brilliant to see so many enthusiastic players making the most of their time on the field laughing, learning, and embracing the game with real spirit.
Our camps are built around delivering age-appropriate, fun-filled sessions that ensure every child walks away with a smile and a love for the game. Whether it’s a player’s first camp or their tenth, our goal is always the same: to create a positive and inspiring football experience for all.
